Call for Trainers

1. Co-Facilitator for IBC 2019

We are looking for a facilitator that will be hosting 20 young social change makers together with Nele and a seminar assistant from 2-11 August, 2019 in Schneeberg, Germany. Our main task is to create a positive learning atmosphere and initiate, accompany and support the learning process of the participants. Therefore, we will be using Methods of Art of Hosting and Theory U. Nele’s style of hosting groups is very smooth and soft, e.g. will sit in a circle on the ground every morning and evening for a check in and check out. However, it is a Boost Camp and the learning process will be intense. We will invite other trainers for workshops and also facilitate our own sessions and workshops during the training course.   • available full time 2 – 11 August in Schneeberg, Germany and for some phone calls and an offline-meeting in Germany beforehand
  • fluent in English with experiences in working in English language
  • intercultural sensitivity and experiences in facilitating seminars with participants from different cultures (ideally you have had active reflection processes about your own privileges and about how your social position affects your role as a facilitator)
  • knowledge about design thinking methods
  • own experiences in political and/or social activism
  • driver’s license and being able to drive in Germany
  • being able to speak Arabic is a plus, but not a requirement

2. Trainer for Workshops

We are looking for trainers for the different 3-hour-long workshops, taking place at Impulse Boost Camp 2019. The training takes place in Schneeberg, Germany. Trainers should be used to host workshops in English language and qualified to work with intercultural groups. 

If you would like to host a workshop, please send an email with a brief workshop description, your CV and a number stating your expected salary to

  • Moderation for team meetings and other group gatherings
  • Storytelling for political and social activism (e.g. Campaigning)
  • Awareness Through the Body or other body and breath work that helps dealing with stress and nervousness
  • Other workshops that could support young social change makers in their work – we are open for your ideas
